Besh and I had this conversation at Costco today, probably triggered by all the food we were buying.
Besh: “You know what?”
Me: “What?”
“You know dinosaurs?”
“I know dinosaurs.”
“Dinosaurs eat planets.”
I laughed.
“No, Besh, dinosaurs eat plants.”
“Oh. Plants.”
I have to admit, his way was cooler.
The three of us were driving last night and the topic of Sunday’s dinner with Besh’s pre-primary teacher came up. Besh still loves her a lot even though he moved up to primary in October.
Sara: “Besh, did you know Miss Laura is coming for dinner?”
Besh: “I’m not in her class anymore…”
“Does that make you sad?”
“No. I’m too big. I don’t fit in her class anymore.”
Funny game Besh was playing on New Year’s Eve/Day. He would crawl up on Sara’s lap, hold her cheeks with his hands and then say, “Listen to my message!” before kissing her on the cheek.
