Besh Origins

For those that don’t know, but are wondering why people would be so mean as to name a child Besh or Besher, know that it’s a nickname.  When we were pregnant and saw the first sonogram we commented how he looked like a bean.  Soon we started calling him the Beshert Bean (Beshert is a Yiddush word for “meant to be”).  That quickly became shortened to Besher, or Besh for most people.  We knew everyone would start calling him that, but we still gave him a regular name in case he wants to use that instead some day.
